1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

At SKINIC Rejuvenation Center, we take the protection and security of your personal and medical data very seriously. All customer data is processed and protected in accordance with Swiss data protection laws.

2. DATA SECURITY:

We employ advanced security systems and protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access and misuse. Access to customer data is strictly limited to authorized personnel and is closely monitored. These Terms and Conditions may be amended by the practice at any time. The new version shall come into effect upon publication on the practice's website. Customers are generally subject to the version of the Terms and Conditions that is in effect at the time of contract conclusion, unless the customer has agreed to a newer version of the Terms and Conditions.

3. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT:

As part of our business relationship, we use an appointment scheduling system for efficient organization of appointments. While using this system, potentially personal data is collected for appointment planning and management. Depending on the scope of information, this data may include names, contact details, and other relevant information. Our confidentiality and data processing agreement governs the secure handling of this data, including its processing and storage by the appointment scheduling system used. By continuing our business relationship, customers agree to the terms of our confidentiality and data processing agreement.

4. RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data for as long as legally required (e.g., retention and archiving obligations) or as necessary for our legitimate business interests (e.g., enforcement or defense of claims, ensuring IT security), or as long as the purpose of data collection requires, or retention is necessary for technical reasons. In the case of contracts, retention is usually for the duration of the contractual relationship and beyond statutory retention periods 20 years. This may mean that your personal data or parts thereof may need to be retained for several years after termination of the contractual relationship between you and us. If your personal data is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes, it will, in principle and to the extent possible, be deleted or anonymized. In certain cases, we may retain your personal data - based on your consent - for a longer period (e.g., applications that we keep pending).

5. CUSTOMER RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

These General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) are subject to Swiss law. In the absence of mandatory legal provisions, the court at the practice's registered office shall have jurisdiction. Right to Information: Every customer has the right to comprehensive information about the planned treatments, their procedures, potential risks, and expected results. This information is communicated clearly and understandably. Data Protection: Customers have the right to protection of their personal and medical data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Consent: Prior to any treatment, informed consent of the customers is obtained. This includes understanding and consenting to the proposed treatment procedures. The consent is documented in writing and kept in the customer's file.

Customer Obligations:

Truthful Information: Customers are obligated to provide correct and complete information about their health condition and medical history.

Attendance to Appointments: Customers are expected to attend scheduled appointments and provide timely notice of cancellations or rescheduling.

Payment Obligations: Customers are obligated to pay for the services rendered, in accordance with the established payment terms.

6. COOKIES

On our website, we typically use so-called “cookies” and similar technologies that allow your browser or device to be identified. A cookie is a small file that is sent to your computer or automatically stored by the web browser you use on your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. When you revisit this website, we can recognize you, even if we do not know who you are.

In addition to cookies that are used only during a session and deleted after your visit (“session cookies”), cookies can also be used to store user preferences and other information for a specific period (e.g., two years) (“persistent cookies”). However, you can configure your browser to reject cookies, store them only for the duration of a session, or delete them early. Most browsers accept cookies by default.

The following types of cookies are used (techniques such as fingerprinting are included here):

Necessary Cookies: Some cookies are essential for the website or certain functions to work. For example, they enable you to navigate between pages without losing form data you have entered. They also ensure that you remain logged in. Such cookies are usually temporary (“session cookies”). If you block these, the website may not function properly. Other cookies store your settings (e.g., language, consent, automatic login) beyond a single session and may have an expiration date of up to 24 months.

Additional Cookies: Additionally, we use cookies to analyze how you use our services and to display relevant advertisements to you.

Although we assume that the data we share with Google does not constitute personal information, Google may infer user identities, create profiles, and link data to Google accounts.
